
Gripper – robot manipulator for loading and unloading parts from injection molds
A customer from the automotive industry entrusted us with the task of designing and manufacturing a pneumatic gripper with vacuum and mechanical functions for loading and unloading parts from injection molds.
The gripper was designed taking into account the geometry of the injection mold and the instrumentation of the production line, cooperating with the gripper mounted on an industrial robot. The customer’s production line tooling supplies the individual product components, which the gripper picks up and inserts into the injection mold. Once the plastic injection cycle is complete, using a gripper made by our company, the robot picks up the finished parts from the injection mold and deposits them on a conveyor belt.
